Serving US, UK, and India. Shopify-only, intentionally.

Quirkyheads started as a straightforward idea: most D2C brands deserve a better Shopify store than they have. Not because the product is wrong — but because the store was built by someone who didn't understand both commerce and code at the same time.

We've spent six years getting genuinely good at one thing. Not web design in general. Not WordPress, not Wix, not multi-platform builds. Shopify — every release, every API change, every theme architecture shift. When Shopify moved to 2.0, we were early. When they built out B2B natively, we built with it.

Depth over breadth. That's the choice we made in 2019.

We've worked with brands doing their first thousand dollars in revenue, and brands doing eight figures. The problems are different in scale but rarely in kind. Slow stores, broken mobile experiences, checkout flows that leak conversions, teams who can't update their own content. We know these problems the way a surgeon knows an anatomy — because we've seen them hundreds of times.

Our clients are mostly in the US and UK, with a growing number of Indian D2C brands building for global markets. We work async-first, we don't disappear after launch, and we say no to projects where we can't genuinely add value.

What We Stand For

The things we won't compromise on.

These aren't aspirations on a poster. They're the practical principles that shape how we scope projects.

01

Craft over speed

We move fast, but never at the cost of getting it right. A store that works correctly for three years is more valuable than one delivered in half the time.

02

Honesty before comfort

If something won't work, we say so before we start. We'd rather lose a project than deliver something we don't believe in.

03

Ownership at every level

Everyone on the team owns their work completely. No 'that's not my job.' No finger-pointing.

04

Clients own the outcome

We build stores that our clients can run independently. We document everything, train the team, and hand over code they can read.

05

Focused by design

Shopify only. Not because we can't work on other platforms — because staying focused is the only way to stay genuinely excellent.

06

Long-term thinking

We optimise for the relationship, not the invoice. The best thing that can happen after a project ends is the client comes back.

The Team

Small team. Deep expertise.

We're intentionally lean. Every person on the team is senior-level in their domain.

How We Think

The operating principles behind every project.

These are the things we've learned from 170+ projects that nobody tells you when you start an agency.

01

Scope creep kills good work

We define exactly what we're building before we start. Changes mid-project are conversations, not surprises — and they're always documented.

02

The brief is never complete

Every client brief has gaps. Our job is to find them in week one, not week four.

03

Async doesn't mean slow

We run async-first for everything non-urgent. This creates better documentation and more focused work.

04

Launch is not the finish line

The store doesn't work when it launches — it works when the numbers move.

05

Good code is documentation

Every codebase we hand over is clean, commented, and structured so any developer can pick it up.
